Design Thinking

Design thinking is an iterative problem-solving process that helps people or teams develop creative solutions to complex problems. It is a user-centered approach to problem-solving that involves brainstorming, prototyping, user testing, and refinement to solve problems and develop innovative solutions.

Design thinking is based on five core principles:

  1. Empathy: Putting yourself in the shoes of the user and understanding their needs and wants.

  2. Define: Defining the problem that needs to be solved and understanding the context of the problem.

  3. Ideate: Generating ideas and solutions to the problem.

  4. Prototype: Developing a prototype of the solution to test the viability of the solution.

  5. Test: Gathering feedback from users and testing the solution to refine it.

Design thinking is based on the idea that solutions should be driven by the needs of the user. It encourages teams to be creative, think outside the box, and test and iterate to develop the best possible solution.
